If you’ve been following my blog or have occasionally been reading my IoT articles the name “WeMos” should be familiar to you. I wrote a number of articles about that Chinese manufacturer’s family of devkits based on Espressif WiFi chips.
The latest offering is a devkit that is heavily “inspired” – ok, you may call it a clone – by the Adafruit HUZZAH32 – ESP32 Feather. The WeMos LOLIN ESP32 is based on the ESP-WROOM-32 chip which offers WiFi and Bluetooth and clocks at 240MHz. The devkit features 4MB flash which is a bit of disappointed as WeMos’ latest D1 mini has been shipped with 16MB for quite some time. The LiPo connector is a 2 pin JST PH 2.0mm.

The device is sold at their official Aliexpress store but similar products are sold by Banggood as well.
